I have been fortunate to have shot wedding films at Crockwell Farm for over 5 years now, and it will always hold a special place in my heart - one of the first venues I became a preferred supplier for and one of my earliest weddings was at the Northamptonshire venue, I will forever be grateful for their warm welcome all those years ago!
Crockwell is one of those venues that seems to have the ability to lend itself perfectly to any season. From hazy summer mornings to crisp winter days, I've filmed here in all seasons and all weathers and it never disappoints.

Why It's A Great Wedding Venue
The venue features a charming 17th-century vaulted ceremony barn, fully insulated permanent starlit marquees, and extensive gardens and grounds, creating a perfect backdrop for weddings. Couples have the option of three different settings for their civil ceremony, including outdoor ceremonies in the orchard. For those considering a church wedding, Crockwell Farm is also an ideal reception venue following a religious ceremony at local churches like St Nicholas in Eydon.

It has nine spacious bedrooms within the farm cottages, offering a cozy, home-from-home experience over three days and two nights. My Experience Filming There
As a wedding videographer, without a doubt, I can say the staff at Crockwell Farm are some of the best I have ever worked with. Not only are they super efficient, but they are also welcoming and accommodating. As a videographer, and I know my photographer friends will agree - there's a lot of kit. The team at Crockwell always makes sure we have somewhere safe to store our stuff, ensuring batteries are charged, and everything is easily accessible means I'm able to fully focus on filming your day without worrying that I need to dash to my car for extra kit.
It goes without saying Crockwell has some absolutely breathtaking grounds, and it's one of those venues where whether I'm filming indoors or outside there is plenty of variety with the spaces, in my opinion, this helps me make a more visually interesting film. Hermione and Bay take a lot of care with the grounds and it really does show. I love filming outside here with the beautiful oak tree and the pavilion being firm favourites of mine.
I also feel I should give a special mention to Ross & Ross the official caterers at Crockwell. They manage to create amazing food at every wedding I attend, and always look after the suppliers ensuring we are fed and have access to refreshments whenever we need them. This may seem a trivial point but I think if they look after suppliers for your day so well, then they'll go above and beyond for their couples!
