Capturing your special moments at Scrivelsby Walled Garden
All Together
The best wedding venues keep your guests together whilst giving plenty of room for each family group to be able to enjoy the company they choose on the day. Scrivelsby Walled Garden lets you do just that. If you're lucky enough to have a hot summer's day to enjoy it in, like Sophie & Ryan in the film below, then you have so much space to play around in!
About Scrivelsby Walled Garden
The venue, part of the historic Scrivelsby Estate, boasts pristine lawns, walls adorned with wild, beautiful florals, and a magical wishing well at its heart. The short walk to St Benedict’s church offers couples the option of a traditional ceremony within steps of their celebration. The Dymoke family's legacy, dating back to 1066 and a gift from William the Conqueror, adds a layer of historical grandeur, making Scrivelsby Walled Garden not just a venue, but a storied backdrop where every moment feels like a page from a fairy tale.
My Experience Filming There
Nestled on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Scrivelsby Walled Garden gives a real feel of exclusivity. Having a church on-site for a ceremony was a first for me and definitely made it much easier to bounce between the ceremony area, reception space and the preparation bungalow.
The centuries-old walls surround the reception area and the tipis and open sided shelters really offer up so many different opportunities to shoot guests whilst staying unobtrusive.
